This Autumn, we have a unique opportunity for professional and experienced dancers to join our Company Class here at ACE dance and music in Birmingham.
As part of the next phase of the creative process of TEN, our brand new dance production, which begins its UK tour in November 2016, ACE dance and music will be hosting Company Classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.00am – 11.30am here at our studio in Digbeth, Birmingham.
The classes, which commence on September 12th until October 14th, will be taught by two world class choreographers, Jose Agudo and Andile Sotiya.
Jose Agudo, world-renowned choreographer and dancer, has a long-standing relationship with ACE dance and music, having previously collaborated on A Thousand Shepherds for the companies sell-out 2015 tour of Mana. Jose returns this year to collaborate on TEN, which sees him deliver hints of Flamenco movement to the contemporary vocabulary underpinned by the ACE dance and music inimitable African style.
Andile Sotiya, is a South African born dancer, teacher, choreographer and a former Associate Artist at The Place and lecturer at the Nothern School of Contemporary Dance. Andile is the rehearsal director for TEN, working closely alongside Jose and the dancers.
Classes commence from September 12th until October 14th, and is an incredible opportunity for professional and experienced dancers to learn from two extremely talented choreographers.
Each class will cost £5 per session. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
