We are excited to announce that our Marketing Assistant, Kesha Beaupierre, has received a bursary to attend the Arts Marketing Association Conference 2019.
The AMA works hard to encourage and support more young and diverse people working in the arts and cultural sectors to invest in their own continued professional development. This year’s conference brings together other cultural peers and professionals at Sage Gateshead for two-and-a-half days of keynotes, breakout sessions and plenty of networking opportunities.
In Kesha’s teenage years she joined ACE dance and music’s class programme and was invited to join ACE Youth’s touring company, performing on international stages in and around Europe. She graduated from the University of Worcester with a BA Hons Business, Entrepreneurship and Marketing degree in 2017 and then returned to ACE as a marketing intern before completing her internship and is now their full-time Marketing Assistant. She manages all digital content creation, social media, marketing materials and communicates with ACE’s many audiences.
Kesha said of this opportunity:
“This will enable me to take my career to the next level. The bursary will allow me to attend the conference to network and establish new relationships, to see other organisations case studies and best practice and to give me the space to think about how these ideas can be implemented into ACE dance and music’s framework”
Our Executive Director, Ann Marie Wright said:
“We are excited for Kesha as this will help her develop new skills by speaking to experienced and inspirational practitioners, seeking ideas that can help align our marketing strategy and fulfil some of her individual objectives.”
We will keep you updated on how she gets on!
