On Saturday 29th October our Co-founder and Artistic Director was awarded the One Dance UK Jane Attenborough Award.
The Jane Attenborough Award honours an individual working in dance who has made an outstanding contribution to the art form. Named in memory of the founding Director of Dance UK (later to become One Dance UK), the award aims to highlight the important, but often unacknowledged, contributions made by exceptional individuals who make a real difference to how dance is created, supported, and seen.

It was an honour to be awarded the prestigious Jane Attenborough Award at the One Dance UK Awards 2022 Ceremony. I feel privileged and proud to accept this award on behalf of my husband Ian Parmel, Co-Founder of ACE dance and music our staff and everyone who has been part of this incredible journey over the past 25 years. It is a fantastic endorsement of the talent and determination of hundreds of artists, creatives and supporters who have made ACE dance and music what it is today.
It gives me greater confidence in the work we do and the motivation to continue inspiring the next generation.
