We hope you all enjoyed the 3 videos presented yesterday as part of #ItGetsLighterFromHere⁠

All the pieces were filmed and edited by a young talented Brummie, Kiki Shervington- White. Kiki worked tirelessly with Tarju, Devon, Chanelle, Dawn and Chelsea to create the videos, which would resonate with their artistic vision, tell their stories and pass on the message of hope and faith in a brighter future..

Kiki says: ‘I am grateful to have been a part of this project. I think the concept of 'It’s Getting Lighter from Here' will resonate with most people as we've all been impacted by the current changes. Although short, it also felt good to get outdoors and work with other artists.’⁠

We look forward to working with more young local artists, as we plan to create other artistic opportunities in the future. ⁠
