Mthoko Mkhwanazi

Mthoko hails from KwaMashu (South Africa) and started dancing with Flatfoot in January 2010 in its KwaMashu community project – the Siyakhula Dance Programme. In 2011, he was selected to travel with Flatfoot to Zimbabwe for a cultural exchange with Chipowa. In 2013, he was selected for Flatfoot’s Advanced Dance Development Programme. In 2019, Mthoko was invited to join Flatfoot’s professional company as a full-time dancer, working with Lliane Loots, Sifiso Khumalo, Jabu Siphika and other guest choreographers Fana Tshabalala, Yaseen Manuel and Vincent Mantsoe. Mthoko joined ACE in October 2022.
