We brought a collage of carnival colour, dance and the pulsating rhythms of Trinidad to Bullring & Grand Central in Summer 2022
Our line-up included:
Mighty Jamma – Steel Pan Artist
The UK’s number one steelpan soloist brought the melody and harmony of steelpan to infuse It’s Carnival with traditional Trinidadian song.
DJ G-ZEE
International Pro Mixmaster DJ G-Zee enthralled the crowds with the ultimate selection of grooves and beats to get the heart pumping and the feet moving!
Eternity Percussion
Bringing the power of the drum from Amsterdam, the Eternity Percussion troupe had fingers snapping and feet stamping as the syncopation of talent flooded the Bullring with the rhythms of Trinidad and carnival!
Ebony Steel Band
Winners of the National Panorama competition (Notting Hill) a record twenty two times, the amazing sounds and vibe of carnival.
Black Voices
Black Voices are the UK’s leading A Cappella Quintet and led a joyful community choir using the power of beautiful voices to raise the roof and the spirit throughout the Bullring.
ACE Funky Minis & Juniors
The smallest but mightiest of the ACE family delighted the audience as they brought the confidence and exuberance of youth to the Trinidad carnival celebrations!
Procession through Rotunda Square
Flamboyant colour and magnificent costumes entwined with intricately choreographed dance routines ensured this carnival spectacular enticed the watching crowds everywhere it went.
Arts & Crafts
Using colour and artistry, our talented team demonstrated how to use upcycled materials to make adornments for carnival.
ACE Professionals
ACE Professional Company stunned and captivated as they combined sheer artistry and power to tell the tale of music through the medium of contemporary dance.
Fused & ACE Youth
Seasoned and professional, ACE’s youth dance groups demonstrated a fantastic contemporary piece inspired by the flora of the Caribbean.
Mass Celebration
The carnival crowd immersed themselves in the euphoric and high-spirited vibe of Trinidad. Celebrating all that is carnival – vibrant colour, captivating music and joyous, uplifting vibes.
